Mardi Gras Indians

Kalypso and I went to see the Mardi Gras Indians parade yesterday near Washington and Claiborne. It's truly one of the most visually beautiful and uniquely New Orleans events. Thanks to all the Indians who worked so hard on their wonderful costumes. Here is one picture:

  1. Sorry we never caught up with you. It was quiet uncrowded down around 2nd and Claiborne, where I was camped on the curb with Matthew, my sister and Bec and Dave.

Did you see the chief of the Blackhawk Hunters in lime-face signing? It was transcendent.

    It was all good.
