For Those Feeling Generous

If you were thinking about making a financial contribution to the victims of Hurricane Katrina, I would recommend that you consider organizations such as the following instead of some of the more typical mammoth relief organizations. I chose these because I believe they represent all of the things I love about New Orleans: music, food, heritage, fun, and lagniappe (a common word in New Orleans meaning “a little something extra”). I am confident that the Big Easy will once again Laissez Les Bons Temps Roulez.

Multimedia training course set for November
The course will help experienced journalists adapt their work for the web and show bloggers and citizen journalists how to refine their writing and presentation skills.
Hi, you have a great blog here! I am definitely going to bookmark you!

I have a Puerto Aventuras Real Estate site/blog. It pretty much covers Puerto Aventuras Real Estate related stuff.

Come and check it out if you get time :-) Tom

Michael, you are so brave in such an uncertain time. There is lots of love and concern all across the US. I can't tell you how much I wanted to put my arms around my television set and reach out to those is so much pain and give them all a hug of comfort. I live in Earthquake country, S. Calif., so I know how the emotional rollercoaster feels...I feel for you..take care and God Bless.

Mike-Long time no talk and don't know if you remember me, but I am the one who likes tater-tots. I had to bug Malena, the modern dancer, to get an update on you and your family's status. Thanks for sharing on your blog. We are so very upset, angry, depressed, etc out here in SD. Please keep us posted on what is happening out there, as David and I want to travel out there in the Spring and volunteer/do whatever we can. Take care.
